A factory floor is a tough place for electronics. Dust settles on everything, temperatures swing through the year, and vibration from nearby machines works at every screw. Industrial control panels have to be planned with these realities in mind, and that is where we spend much of our design effort.
Heat is the most common enemy. Drives and power supplies produce warmth, and a sealed panel traps it. We calculate the heat load and add fans, filters or air conditioning where needed, so components run within their rated temperature instead of failing early.
Dust and moisture are handled through enclosure ratings, gaskets and sensible cable entry. We keep glands tight and unused holes blanked. Small details like these decide whether a panel lasts three years or fifteen.
Fans, filters or cooling are sized from the actual heat load.
Suitable IP ratings, gaskets and tight cable entries.
Torqued terminals and reinforced mounting for shop-floor conditions.
Photos and conditions guide the design, not assumptions.
Vibration loosens terminals, so we torque connections and use spring-loaded or screw terminals suited to the environment. For plants near presses or crushers, we also mount heavier devices on reinforced plates rather than thin backplates.
If you have a plant with a demanding environment, tell us the conditions when you enquire. Photos of the location help too. We would rather design for the actual place than assume a clean, air-conditioned room that does not exist.
It depends on dust and water exposure. A clean control room may need IP42, while a washdown area needs IP65 or better. Tell us the location and we will suggest the right one.
Yes, with correct ventilation or air conditioning and components rated for the conditions. We calculate this at design stage.
Whether you have a full drawing or only an idea, send it across. A short discussion now usually saves a lot of rework later.
